Becoming a MF CASR Fellow

MF CASR has released new guidelines for who can become an MF CASR fellow.

Internal Guidelines
Colleagues who wish to become an MF CASR fellow should be postdoctoral fellows, assistant/associate professors and full professors at MF who meet one of the following requirements:
1. in the process of making a project description to the RCN/EU
or
2. have published a minimum of four research articles or similar registered in CRISTIN over the last four years.
Global Fellows Program
The MF CASR Global Fellowship offers an opportunity for excellent scholars who fall broadly within the field of religious studies to spend up to 4 weeks at the MF Center for the Advanced Study of Religion in Oslo. During their stay MF CASR Global Fellows give one open lecture, and one short presentation at a MF CASR brown bag seminar. The fellowship includes a shared work space at MF and access to MF's library facilities.
The fellowship is by invitation only, with candidates being nominated internally. It is open to both established scholars and promising talents.
The deadline for the 2025 call for applicants is 1 March.
