"Between Cultural History and Church History: The Edition of Elisabeth Vasa’s and Christoffer of Mecklenburg’s Inventory"

After the death of Elisabeth Vasa (d. 1597), a couple of inventories were written, which document the belongings of Elisabeth and her husband Christoffer von Mecklenburg. Together with some colleagues from Rostock an edition of these handwritten inventories is planned. Early modern inventories are an extremely interesting source both for cultural and church historians.
