Writing bootcamp

This bootcamp is designed to equip you with a key academic writing skill: crafting well-structured, effective paragraphs. Through models and short exercises, we will explore:

• The role of a paragraph in a broader text.
• Appropriate content volume within a paragraph.
• What is the difference between a coherent paragraph and a random heap of sentences?
• How do you know what fits and what does not fit inside a single paragraph? 

Learn how to identify and refine topic sentences, and understand the steps necessary to construct a solid paragraph. We'll provide you with a checklist to help revise and improve your drafts.
