What is Grammarly?

Grammarly is an app/extension that helps with your English writing. Grammarly finds and corrects complex writing errors in grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and spelling. You will also get suggestions on how you can improve your text. Grammarly can be used across multiple devices, browsers, and apps.

Privacy

Grammarly is storing the text you check in the USA, so please don't "check" sensitive information.

How do I get access?

As a student on an English study programme at MF, you will get a Grammarly invite by email sent from Grammarly to your @stud.mf.no email-address (it should forward to your private email account) No email? Check your spamfolder. 

Click on the link in the invitation email, and follow the instructions. After registration, you can install extensions to Chrome, Word, (old Office/Word plugin) etc.

The invitation email is valid only for a limited time (approximately two weeks), please ask IT-support if you need to get the invitation email again. The sign-in to Grammarly is now via Feide. If you need to login inside an app (and not this link) you have to use your "long" @stud.mf.no email as first login, you can find your email-address logging in to https://activate.mf.no. This is not your username but structured more like: Firstname.Initials.Surname@stud.mf.no
