Online Application
MF uses an online nomination and application system for incoming exchange students to MF.
Students who have been nominated by their home institution must complete their application for exchange to MF in the online application service for students, "Søknadsweb". Nominated students will receive an email with password and instructions on how to apply.

Instructions
Step 1: Log in
Use the link in the email sent to you to go to the online application service, press “log in without a Norwegian birth number” and log in with your email-address and password (also sent to you in the email confirming the nomination to MF).
Step 2 : Contact information
On this page you must enter your correct postal address in your home country. Please make sure to enter both postal code/zip code and city. Click on "OK - save" to continue. You will then be directed to the application page. For countries with more than 4 digits postal codes, please write down your full address in the address line and fill out postal code with “1111”
Step 3: My application
On the application page you will see the details of your nomination. To complete the application you must confirm level (bachelor or master) for your exchange.

Step 4: Upload documents
On this page you may upload the relevant documents for your application. Some partner institutions have already uploaded or sent the documents for their nominated students. If not, the student must upload the documents on this page.
Relevant documents for exchange students:
- Learning Agreement (all fields must be filled out and completed)
- University Transcript of Records, showing previous courses at university level
- Photo
After admission
Letters of Admission will be sent out within 3 weeks after the application deadline. Student housing must also be booked before 1 November for the Spring semester and 1 June for the Autumn semester. Students who plan to apply for SIO-housing must register by sending an email to international@mf.no and apply through SIOs webpages, where you will also find more information on the different housing options, rules and regulations.
The Spring semester usually starts in the second week of January and ends in the third week of June. The Fall semester usually starts in the middle of August and ends in the third week of December. Exchange students should arrive in Oslo at least one week prior to the start of a semester to ensure that they will be present for the Orientation Week for new students.
