As a leading school in theology, religion and society in Scandinavia, we would love to welcome your students to Oslo, Norway by establishing student exchange partnerships and offering the opportunity for our students to increase their understanding of the world we live in.
Establishing an Inter-Institutional Agreement
To initiate an ERASMUS+ partnership, universities must enter into an Inter-Institutional Agreement (IIA) with MF. The steps include:
- Expressing interest by contacting the international advisor.
- Reviewing academic compatibility and potential for exchange in theology, religion, and society.
- Signing an Inter-Institutional Agreement detailing the number of students and staff exchanged, the duration of mobility periods, and the recognition of credits.
- Ensuring both institutions meet ERASMUS+ quality standards, including support services, academic recognition, and equal treatment of students and staff.
Special interests
MF international is especially interested in establishing partnerships with universities that offer peace and conflict studies programmes at BA level in Europe and beyond. MF international is also interested in exchanging students within social sciences programmes at MA levels. Looking for interns? Please contact us about internship opportunities for our students!
Nominating and Sending Students
Once an agreement is in place, partner universities can nominate students for exchange. The process includes:
- The home university selects and nominates eligible students based on agreed criteria.
- Sending nominations to MF within the nomination deadlines.
- Nominated students submit required application documents, such as transcripts, learning agreements, and language certificates (if applicable).
- MF reviews applications and confirms acceptance.
- Accepted students receive pre-arrival information, including visa and accommodation guidance.
