Dear all.
Welcome to a pleasant observance of World Mental Health Day! This year's theme, We need to talk more, highlights the importance of open dialogue. The program for the day allows for reflection, meaningful conversations, and creative handicrafts.
Program:
Group lunch and social gathering
Time: 11:15–12:00
Location: The aula
We start the day with a free lunch for students and staff. Bread with various toppings, coffee, and tea will be served in good company. This is a great opportunity to chat with both familiar and new faces.
Coffee gathering and knitting workshop
Time: 12:00–15:00 (drop by whenever it suits you)
Location: The library by Babel's Table
Take a little break from your daily routine with a cup of coffee or tea, some biscuits, and a friendly chat. Feel free to bring your knitting or other crafts, or just come for a cozy time with others.
Lecture and knitting workshop with Remi Tasc (Åmtanke)
Time: 12:15–14:00
Location: Auditorium 5
Remi Tasc (pictured) will give an inspiring lecture titled "From Care to Åmtanke." Åmtanke is a non-profit project focused on providing care and warmth to those in need—both through physical knitted garments and emotional support. Remi will share his story about how knitting can be a source of care, volunteerism, and community. We will serve coffee, tea, and buns, and distribute free knitting kits to the first 22 students. Feel free to bring your own knitting if you have it!
