Students and staff are asked to follow the guidelines given by the National Institute of Public Health and the City of Oslo. Oslo Municipality now follows national guidelines. The guidelines can still be changed again. Please keep yourself updated on the current guidelines.
All students, employees and visitors are asked to respect the following guidelines:
- If you have symptoms of respiratory illness, you are to stay home until you are free of symptoms.
- Use the hand sanitizers placed around MF. Always use sanitizer when entering the building.
- Practice good hand and coughing hygiene: cover your mouth with your arm or use a disposable paper tissue which you immediately throw away.
- Keep at least one meters distance to others in common areas.
- If you suspect COVID-19 infection,
- If there is no available test time, call the COVID-19 telephone in Oslo, and follow their instructions: +47 21 80 21 82
- SiO has a free test station at Blindern. Read more at SiO's page.
You are welcome to be at MF as long as you are well. But you cannot come to work or study in the building if you:
- have symptoms of respiratory infection.
- are in isolation.
Isolation and infection tracing
Anyone who test positive for the coronavirus must enter a 4-days isolation period.
Transmission quarantine is no longer a requirement when you are a close contact of someone with a coronavirus infection. Household members and similar close contacts are advised to take a test daily.
The infected person is responsible for infection detection. Report to MF if you are infected, and we will pass on to others on the same subject that daily testing is required. We recommend that you use the form Let us know! for this. Here you can be anonymous. Remember to state when you have been to MF, when you have received a symptom / positive test, and which subjects you have been teaching.
MF has self-tests that can be handed out and expects to receive more tests shortly. The tests are available at the reception on the 1st floor.
