Erasmus+ is the world's largest grant program for cooperation between higher education institutions in Europe and applies to both student and teacher exchanges.
As an Erasmus+ student, you can study for 3 - 12 months at a European university as part of your degree at home.
What are the advantages of Erasmus+?
- You do not pay school fees
- You can get help finding housing
- You get an Erasmus grant, in addition to regular support and travel grants from Lånekassen.
To get a scholarship, you must be admitted as a student at MF, your stay must last between three and twelve months, and you must have completed 60 credits before you leave. You must travel to one of our European partners.
Students who get a place on this program will be able to receive an Erasmus+ scholarship during their exchange stay.
- €460 per exchange month to Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Sweden and the UK
- €410 per exchange month to other countries in the EU
Internship with Erasmus+
You can also get support for an internship up to 12 months after graduation. Contact the International Office if this is a possibility.
Lecturer students can also receive support for internships abroad. Minimum length is 2 months.
As an Erasmus+ student, you must remember:
- Sign the grant agreement - You will receive this from the international office. It must be signed well in advance of departure
- Learning/training agreement - You enter the courses you plan to take at the host institution with signatures from both the host institution, you and the international office at MF
- Confirmation of length of stay - sent to the international office at MF
- Answer the language test and participant report
