MF Norwegian School of Theology, Religion and Society invites exchange students to experience high-quality education in a city known for its commitment to peace, sustainability, and global dialogue.
MF combines strong academic traditions in theology and religious studies with a growing portfolio in Social Sciences,
including Peace and Conflict Studies and Global Social Change. Whether you're passionate about understanding society, exploring ethical challenges, or engaging with global issues, MF offers a unique academic environment rooted in interdisciplinary thinking and international collaboration.
Exchange opportunities
MF collaborates with a wide network of international partner universities and participates in exchange programmes such as Erasmus+ and Nordplus. Exchange students typically join us for one or two semesters and must be nominated by their home institution.

Courses and programmes offered in English
As an exchange student at MF, you’ll be able to choose from a curated selection of English-taught courses at both bachelor’s and master’s levels. These course packages are designed to support international students and reflect MF’s academic strengths in theology, religion, and social sciences.
We also offer, in collaboration with local partners, introductory Norwegian language courses to help you settle in and connect with life in Oslo.
