Påskeverksted

The library invites students and staff to a drop‑in Easter workshop at Babels bord on Thursday, March 19, from 10:00–14:00.

Come and make påskebrev for friends, Easter cards, or Easter decorations. We’ll serve coffee, tea, and Twist chocolates!
You’ll also find an exhibition of Easter‑related literature in the library foyer.

So what is a påskebrev, or “påskbrev” as it’s called in Swedish?
Halland’s Art Museum explains this tradition from Dalsland/Värmland.

"Do you know what a påskbrev is? A påskbrev is a drawing that you fold like a letter. Then put a little candy inside the letter and send it to someone you care about. It’s perfect to send to loved ones you can’t meet at Easter. Good luck!"
