Your MF account is used for:
- Feide (login service for logging in to many different web sites)
- Canvas
- Eduroam (Wi-Fi network)
- WISEflow (for exams)
- Printing and copying
- StudentWeb
- BIBSYS Oria (library)
- Student PCs at MF
- Microsoft/Office 365
Get your username and activate your account
- You must have received the message that you have been accepted into the study programme (or course) you have applied for
- Then you can log in to StudentWeb to complete your semester registration and pay the semester fee
- Wait for 3 days after paying the semester fee
- Get your username and temporary password in the Student Reception (3rd floor).
- Bring some form of identification (passport or ID card)
- Note: If you already have Norwegian Bank ID, you can skip this step and log in on step 5 using Bank ID!
- Log in to https://activate.mf.no
- Create a new password
- Submit the form to activate your user account. After about 20 minutes your account should be activated
You must also make sure to get your student card. You need it in order to use the Student ID app and our library services.
Forgotten username or password
If you forgot your username or password and do not yet have a Norwegian BankID for the automatic password reset, you have to go to the student reception at MF between 10 - 14 o'clock Mon-Fri. Remember to bring a valid identification (passport or ID card.)
If you do have Norwegian BankID, just follow the instructions for "Getting your username" from step 5, and log in with Norwegian BankID.
