User account and password

Activate your account

1. You must have received SMS confirmation that you are admitted as a student
2. Complete your semester registration and pay the semester fee. (Note: It may take up to 3 days after you have paid the semester fee before you can activate your user account.)
3. Get your username and temporary password in the Student Info (2nd floor in the Library).
   • Bring valid identification (passport or ID card)
   • Note: If you already have Norwegian Bank ID, you can skip this step and log in on step 5 using Bank ID!
4. Log in to activate.mf.no
5. Create a new password
6. Your account should be activated after 20 minutes.

Forgotten username or password

• With Norwegian BankID → Log on to activate.mf.no and make a new password
• Without Norwegian BankId → Visit Student Info and bring valid ID (passport or ID card)

Your new password will be active in 15 minutes
