Committee

In connection with the public defense, MF covers costs for 2 hotel nights, standard room for the members of the committee. Travel expenses are covered round trip with the cheapest and most environmentally friendly method of travel. All expenses must be documented with official receipts and the form for refund of travel expenses must be filled in. Expenses without official receipts will not be covered.

Information to the assessment committee

If the assessment committee decides that a PhD thesis is worthy of being publicly defended, a public defence is organized at MF in Oslo. This includes both a trial lecture and a discussion of the thesis. The defence is chaired by MF’s rector.
