Learning outcome
PHD925
A mid-term evaluation of the doctoral work usually takes place in the third or fourth semester. It is mandatory. The candidate presents their work so far and may also submit a report on work done and potential challenges for further progress. The work is evaluated by a group of at least two people appointed by the institution. The evaluation group will assess the academic status and progress of the doctoral work and give feedback to the candidate, the supervisor, and the institution.
If the evaluation group reports significant weaknesses in the research, measures will be taken to correct the situation.
