The seminar allows the candidate to present a complete draft of their dissertation and have it examined by an external reviewer. This review will aim to identify essential results and tasks still to be completed before the final and formal submission for assessment and (possibly) defense in a disputation.
The seminar is mandatory. The examiner at the workshop will normally not be a member of the committee that evaluates the final work.
Study requirements
The candidate presents their work and is evaluated by an examiner appointed by the institution.
