Buddy week 2026

Join the Buddy Week! A great opportunity to get to know other new students, Oslo, and MF.

What is Buddy Week?

At the start of your studies, all new students are assigned to a “fadder group.” These groups are usually led by one or more experienced students who volunteer as buddys (fadder).

Together with your group, you can take part in a variety of activities in the afternoons and evenings. The activities are planned by a student committee made up of MF students.

You can choose whether to participate in all activities or just parts of the program.

Tuesday

10.00: Welcome to MF
14.00: Assignment to fadder groups

19.00 - 21.00: Boat party (meet no later than 18:30; location TBA)

Wednesday

09.30-10.00: Breakfast at MF
10.15: Semester opening service
12.15: Academic Semester Opening

15.00: Barbeque at MF

18.00: Olympic Games. Location TBA.

Thursday

14.00: Volleyball and barbeque. Location TBA.

20.00: Evening scanveger hunt. Location TBA.

Friday

21.00: Themed party - Universitetsgata 20 

Saturday
