I hold a master's degree in social science education from the University of Oslo and am a qualified teacher. My master's project delved into teachers' comprehension of diversity and their competence in handling diversity within the realm of social studies. With a background in both secondary education and university lecturing at the University of Oslo.

Within the field of social science education, my interests span diverse topics such as inclusion, democratic preparedness, and citizenship. My ongoing doctoral project focuses on investigating how both teachers and students contribute to creating inclusive democracy education accessible to all students. Furthermore, I aim to explore the contextual factors that influence the opportunities and challenges associated with democracy education in schools, adopting a comparative perspective
