By training I educated MD, but I have also worked extensively with interreligious dialogue - both institutionally and in the civil society for past ten years. In my research project I aim to study if there is an association between islamic practice and Identity, and health determinants. In addition, I am studying the issue of induced abortion among Muslim women in Norway. I also have a particular interest in Medical ethics, Islamic bioethics and human dignity.
