Welcome to a two-day course on an existential approach to clinical work.
This two day course provides participants with a thorough and scientifically up to date introduction to an existential approach to clinical work. It is suitable for a wide range of professionals working with people, not just within the mental health field. The course combines theory and research from existential philosophy, psychology, and psychotherapy with practical exercises and group activities.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of existential perspectives on life, human beings, society, illness, and health, as well as practical tools for clinical work.
We aim to have the course approved as continuing education by the Norwegian Psychological Association and the Norwegian Medical Association.
The course is part of the International Summer School 2026: Existential Psychology and Meaning in Life, with Peter la Cour, Gry Stålsett, Ole Magnus Vik and Tatjana Schnell.
