Line M. Bonde's Public Defense

Line M. Bonde will give the trial lecture for the degree of PhD on the topic “Church Building in England, 1070-1200".

Friday 18 March 2022 12:15 p.m. will start the public defense by the doctoral candidate of the thesis 

“Challenging the Romanesque: Reconsidering Approaches to the Rural Parish Church of Twelfth-Century Denmark”.

 

The public defense and the lecture will be in English. Read the abstract of the thesis here (pdf). One may ask for electronic access to the thesis at phd@mf.no within 17/3 2022.

Ordinary examiners will be Professor dr. Linda Seidel, Chicago (1), and Assoc. Professor, dr. Søren Kaspersen, Copenhagen (2). Professor dr. Otfried Czaika is the third member of the examination committee. The public defense will be chaired by rector Vidar L. Haanes.
