Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I choose to study at MF?
MF is known for its strong social environment and inclusive, engaged learning environment. MF is a relatively small school. Here you will get to know students from across study programs and your lecturers. MF also has many different student organisations and an active student democracy.
We also have to mention our exceptional lecturers – many of whom are internationally recognised researchers in their fields. We hope you choose us, and think you will enjoy your time here!
How much does it cost to study at MF?
At MF, you pay a tuition fee each semester. This includes a membership in the Student Welfare Organisation in Oslo (SiO).
Do I have to be a Christian or religious to study at MF?
No, that's not necessary. MF is characterised by great diversity among both students and staff, including in religion and outlook on life. Here you are met and respected for who you are.
MF is built on Christian values, and we hold both services and other Christian events. But joining is entirely voluntary, and we have many students and staff who belong to different religions or are not religious.
Can I come to MF as an exchange student?
Yes! MF accepts exchange students from our partner universities. Exchange students usually study at MF for one or two semesters.
